	Involved with major utility clients in the delivery of green and Brownfield transmission and distribution projects. This is a group that achieved balance in its client portfolio amidst the market fluctuations experienced by some of its competitors. Non–reliant on tenders waiting to be approved, there are solid current projects including 220kv substations along with secured pipeline of projects. Manage external relationships to Design team and provide Technical Support to stakeholders. HV transmission substation design (132kV up to 500kV), authoring and writing of design deliverable specifications for primary and secondary equipment. With a list of long-standing major clients, a lot of goodwill and a strong presence in the Electrical market, this dedicated team of over 20 Electrical professionals is handling a number of major High Voltage Substation projects, some of which are provided to the group as sole source providers to their clients. 	Take on a multi faceted role by working in the Power Transmission & Distribution department which will provide you with greater intellectual stimulation in your work day. This role includes: Engineering - Protection and substation automation systems from 11KV to 400KV with numerical relays. Work closely with the power system engineer to design settings for relays and circuitry design allowing you to gain exposure in power systems. Testing of protection systems to validate design, equipment procurement, installation and interfaces with SCADA will enable you to be an integral part of the whole process as opposed to only the design work. Project Management – Develop your leadership skills by creating and reviewing the project schedule and progress whilst identifying and minimizing possible risk. HV reticulation design, load flow and fault level studies and network analysis will some of the responsibilities. Naturally step into the role of Principal Electrical Engineer as not only your technical skills but your people management skills will be advanced. This is a team of 15 Electrical engineers and they are expecting to double within 18 months as there are projects set out for 2008 and 2009. 90% of your time will be spent in the CBD office however you will also be involved with the commissioning. This will be kept to a minimum and an allowance will be give on top of your salary to compensate you.
